Delicious Greek turkey meatballs served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for family dinners or meal prep.

- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste (for tzatziki)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1–1.5 inches in size, and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) is reached.
- Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki by combining Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a small bowl. Stir well and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve the meatballs hot with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
Allow tzatziki to chill while the meatballs bake for enhanced flavor. Use an air fryer for a healthier cooking option.
